Robin Frot: Non-vanishing of L-functions at the central value

Abstract: In this presentation, we will give an overview of the general ideas behind the non-vanishing of automorphic L-functions. After giving a background for the Maass forms for GL(n), we will explain a recent non-vanishing result for the products of a twisted GL(3) Hecke--Maass L-function and a Dirichlet L-function.
