Iohara Kenji (Lyon): On $gl(\infty)$ algebras

In this talk, I first introduce some versions of $gl(\infty)$ algebras, starting with the simplest and oldest one. Then I will outline our recent results on the homology of a widely used $gl(\infty)$ algebra. The work is joint work with A. Fialowski.
