Gergely Kiss: Bisymmetric Means, Once Again

In previous talks I discussed regularity questions for bisymmetric means, especially in the binary, symmetric, strictly monotone, and reflexive setting. At the beginning of this year, I returned to the subject with the aim of obtaining a more complete picture. In this talk I will present some of my recent findings, including counterexamples when reflexivity is dropped, infinite families of symmetric reflexive (n)-ary means, and recent results in the nonsymmetric binary case. Bisymmetry is assumed throughout.
