Balázs Patkós: Recent developments in forbidden subposet problems

In January 2024, Ellis, Ivan, and Leader disproved the main conjecture of the area by giving a construction showing La(n,B_d)\ge (d+\varepsilon_d)\binom{n}{n/2} where B_d=(2^{[d]],\subseteq) is the Boolean lattice of dimension d. Not too much happened since then until very recently. In the past two months several manuscripts appeared on arxiv. We will summarize these and some further results. Based on joint work with Tompkins and chatg-P-T.
